CAT OVERNIGHT STAY

We care for your animals so we can rescue others with the LA Cat Club!

Cats prefer a calm and quiet environment. At Cateau Marmont we are CAGE FREE and believe in providing a no stress, healthy environment for your cat while you are away. While we do have a large Group Play Room and a Sunny Sun Room, we offer our guests their own Private Bungalows. The first stay for your cat with us should not be in a group setting. We recommend a private bungalow so your cat can make the decision to come into group when they’re ready. A cat appreciates their own space, it makes for a much more comfortable stay.

You can choose from these Private Bungalows: Vik (224 cubic feet) 4x8x7, Bb (220 cubic feet) 4x5x11, and Standard (72 cubic feet) 3x3x8. All bungalows have been built with catwalks, so as to allow our feline family members plenty of vertical space. Main Room Private Bungalows also includes a personal balcony that overlooks the main Play Room.

The Play Room is where we hang out most of the time. There are live fish, cat tv, toys, places to climb and explore and loving caretakers who love on our guests constantly.

We employ only Veterinary Technicians because we believe your cat deserves the best care from people who are experienced with animals. Truth be told, it is because of your gracious tips we are able to keep our prices competitive and hire experienced techs.

PLEASE NOTE: We are no longer accepting cats with diabetes. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

  • Kitty can watch birds and squirrels on their own personal Kindle Fire or see the real thing out private or group windows. There are bird feeders outside of every window.
  • We play music produced scientifically for cats (yes, there is such a thing.)
  • Receive pictures via text for a fee or visit our Facebook page to see pics for free.
  • Kitty can watch the live fish tank.
  • Live Cameras available in select bungalows.
  • Staff on-site 14-16 per day, but staff are not on-site overnight.

We invite our guests out of their bungalows many times a day but never make them do anything they don’t feel comfortable doing. We work for them. It is extremely rare to have an aggressive kitty either toward us or other cats. This is because we are a neutral territory. If at any time we feel a kitty is too stressed we make the necessary arrangements to keep them calm and make their stay with us a a comfortable as possible. There are so many fun things to climb on and play with. So when we are not cleaning the litter or feeding our guests our favorite things to do are play with lasers and cat toys all day long. Did I mention that we love on our guests constantly? The pure love of cats is why we opened Cateau Marmont!

We do not give refunds, however, we will give credit towards the next stay. Credits cannot be used during the holidays, are not transferable to other people and expire December 31st of every year.

Live Camera in Select Bungalows. Please keep in mind there are sometimes problems with technology which may affect the feed.

Cameras come on around 9 am and turn off for the evening.

FOOD POLICY

We want our guests to feel at home as much as possible and this means eating their own food from home. We ask you bring a good supply of their food and we will feed them as instructed by you exactly the way they eat at home. However, we do not feed our guests junk food that contains by-products. Please be sure the number one ingredient in your food is meat and the term by-products is not listed. For $6 a day we will feed your cat high grade chicken or fish, or kibble twice a day. Prescription food exempt.

PLEASE NOTE: We are a group facility and there could be food out. We cannot guarantee 100% your cat won’t eat anothers food, but we try our best.

VACCINATION REQUIREMENTS

To ensure the health and safety of all of our guests, we recommend that cats with overdue vaccinations receive them at least two weeks prior to their stay. All of our guests are required to be current on the FVRCP (4-way vaccination) and Rabies vaccine (1 or 3 year variety). The Rabies vaccination is waived for inside only cats whose family does not wish them to have this vaccine. However, a written note from your vet is required. All our boarders are required to be tested (snap test) for FIV and FeLV within the past 6 months. Ask about our indoor only kitty policy. All guests must be flea free. If not, we will administer flea treatments at the owners expense. All guests over three months of age must be spayed or neutered.

Drop off and pick up are by appointment only. Because we are a small establishment we can only accommodate one appointment at a time. Check in’s approximately 30 minutes. Its important that we have some alone time with your cat to make him/her feel safe. If you are late or stay too long you jeopardize this extremely important time and cut into the next person’s appointment. Pick up is the same. We spend valuable time discussing your cat and their stay here. Please be respectful of the next appointment and the comfort of your cat.

In order to protect ourselves and our clients during these Covid-19 times we have implemented some new guidelines to limit face to face contact. We are sorry for any inconvenience and will still try to provide the most personal customer service possible.

All check ins must occur between 12:30 PM and 3:30 PM and all check outs must occur between 9:00 AM and 11:30 AM by appointment only. There is a $55 charge for any appointment arranged outside of these hours. We will try to accommodate special circumstances.

We are closed Tuesday. If you must pick up or drop off on a Tuesday there is an extra $55 charge.

Pick up or Drop off on a Holiday is a $100 extra charge.

Holiday Rates add $10 more per night

Holiday Dates  – Thanksgiving dates are Friday before to Monday after & December 15 – January 3

REFUND/CANCELLATION POLICY 

We do not give refunds for early pick ups. However, we will give a credit to be used toward the next stay with us, as long as you let us know 3 days ahead of time that you’ll be picking up early. The credit must be used same calendar year and cannot be used for thanksgiving, Christmas or New year holidays. If an early pick up is more than 5 nights we will charge two full nights and apply the rest of the balance as a credit.

A deposit equivalent to one night’s stay is required at time of booking via Venmo or Zelle. If canceled 3 days prior a full deposit can be returned or credited toward the next reservation. For  reservations 3 or more weeks a 25% deposit is required. Must be canceled 10 or more days prior to reservation and full refund or credit will be issued.

No refunds or credits given for shortned stays during holidays.
